What is a .efi file?
A .efi file is a windows or EFI program. Its registered MIME type is application/vnd.microsoft.portable-executable, which places it in the application or document family of formats.
EFI stands for Extensible Firmware Interface.
Technically it is a specialised form of application/x-msdownload (the .bat format), so tools that understand that format can often read at least part of it.
